About us

We started Orton Bradley Outdoor Education Centre in 2002 to continue our passion for introducing kids to the great outdoors. Lucky enough to have grown up with real camping holidays in our mountains, rivers and beaches, we wanted to make sure Canterbury youth could still do this. So we established Orton Bradley Outdoor Education Centre, keeping in mind what is great about the Kiwi outdoor experiences: real camping, real adventures and real fun.

Company owners Pete Ozich and Kirsten Mackay are both qualified teachers and instructors with professional experience managing risk.

We are a limited liability company owned by Pete Ozich and Kirsten Mackay. We work closely with the Orton Bradley Park Board to complement the diverse range of activities available within the park. We are the sole providers of contracted Outdoor Education in the park.
